Then, in one of those surreal moments where everything seems to just slow to almost a stop, my lower back went out. Nothing was ever just happening to me because I was the only constant in my life. People would come in and out, circumstances would change, events would differ, even if subtly... and at the end of the day there was just me. That was one of the most painful, and coincidentally the most awesome realizations of my life.

But no matter the pain, it was a rationality I couldn't ignore. I wasn't able to deny, run, or escape from it. As a result, I concluded logically that my best course of action would be to begin immediately applying this life altering epiphany that very moment, moment-by-moment, hour-by-hour, day-by-day, choice-by-choice, decision-by-decision. I would turn this from a philosophy to a practical guide to live by.

I wasn't always perfect in my attempts to apply these learnings to my life. Far from it. But that didn't matter. This truth had set me free, a freedom I would never willingly give up again!

Living Your Dream, True.

What is your dream? For me, the game has always been to be a successful entrepreneur. To make my mother proud as my way of thanking her for all she'd done for me. To be a good provider for my wife and two beautiful daughters. Nothing too complicated initially.

However, I've learned that the more we become, the more we can still yet become. The more we begin to live our dreams true, the larger we're inspired to dream. The more were inspired to dream.....the more we can make a change.

The more change accomplished here, the more change we'll see in our world as a result. If i can change, you can change. if we can change, so too can we change the world as we experience it.

From beyond this "moment of clarity" I've been able to successfully run multiple companies and serve as director to the board for some of the world's most progressive organizations. Even as my external responsibilities grow and expand, I get to enjoy a real relationship with my wife, children, and friends the world over.

I get to travel in ways that just a few years ago I would have considered an impossible luxury or simply something I'd never be able to afford. I have been all over the planet the past several years getting to meet some very enlightened individuals who are revered, in their own right, for their wisdom, generosity, and way of life. I have to tell you, there is NOTHING I appreciate more than being engaged in lively conversation with the most enlightened people on the planet!
